Ephemeral by Design
Once viewed or expired, a share stops working immediately and its credential is deleted from the live database, usually within the hour. Encrypted database backups are held for a short operational window, and they hold only ciphertext. Without the key from your link, nobody — including us — can recover the contents.
End-to-End Encryption
Shares you create on the web are encrypted in your browser. The key travels in the link and never reaches our servers, so only someone holding the full link can decrypt the secret.
