Our Mission

Our Story
Founded in 2020 in Canada, CredenShare was born from direct experience in information security. Our founder watched teams across industries routinely share passwords, API keys, and application secrets over Slack messages, emails, and spreadsheets — leaving sensitive data exposed in plaintext on persistent storage, vulnerable to breaches and unauthorized access.
The solution was clear: build a platform where credentials are protected by AES-256 encryption, managed through KMS key protection, and automatically scrubbed after use. Not as an afterthought, but as the foundation.
Our Team
We are a small, focused team of security-minded engineers with more than a decade of collective experience spanning DevOps, FinTech, and enterprise software development. We understand the operational reality of credential management because we have lived it — and we built CredenShare to solve it.
Our Philosophy
At CredenShare, we strategically opt for data loss over compromise. That means no database backups of credential data, automatic scrubbing after access, and, for shares created on the web, encryption we cannot reverse because the key never reaches us. Every design decision starts with one question: "Does this protect the user's data?"
