Our marketing website (credenshare.io) is statically generated and does not set any strictly necessary cookies. The CredenShare application (app.credenshare.io) uses session cookies to maintain your authenticated session.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our Site. GA4 collects pseudonymous usage data (linked to a random identifier for your browser, not to your name or your CredenShare account) to help us improve performance and user experience.

In the CredenShare application (app.credenshare.io), we use PostHog for product analytics. Section 21 of our Privacy Statement describes what it collects and the cookies and browser storage it uses.
2.3 Functional Cookies
CredenShare does not currently use functional cookies on this Site. If this changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.
2.4 Marketing Cookies
We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the results of our advertising on LinkedIn. It loads only if you accept marketing cookies in our cookie settings. When it loads, LinkedIn sets its own cookies and receives information about your visit, which it can link to your LinkedIn account; LinkedIn keeps identifiers for 7 days and other visit data for up to 180 days. You can withdraw your consent at any time in our cookie settings. We do not serve advertisements on our Site.

6. Cookie Retention
Cookies are retained for the period specified in this policy. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for the duration specified or until you delete them manually.
We review our cookie practices regularly and update retention periods as needed.
Deleting your CredenShare account clears CredenShare's data from the browser you used. It does not clear cookies on your other browsers or devices, or cookies set by others on our Site, such as LinkedIn and Google, which follow those companies' own retention. You can clear them in each browser's settings.
